Christopher started this experience by leaving Madison, Wisconsin, and heading to the house of Les Compagnons du Devoir, the premier guide for Pastry Chefs in France. It was here that Christopher was able to work alongside the top journeymen pastry chefs in all of Europe. Additionally, he was the first American to be awarded the honor of the German Pastry Chef and Chocolatier in Cologne, Germany.
Christopher continued to expand his knowledge and skills through the masters of Europe. He built upon his expertise in the finest chocolate housing of Belgium, Switzerland, France, Germany, and Japan. The masters shared their finest secrets and techniques to train Christopher in becoming as talented as them. When returning to the States, Christopher found himself in the greater Philadelphia area, where he shared his acquired skills through Éclat Chocolate, making it a unique experience that guests will never forget.
Since returning to America and starting Éclat Chocolate, Christopher’s dreams of serving his customers luxury chocolate bars have become a reality. Éclat Chocolate has proudly been featured in Vogue, Forbes, The New York Times, Time, and other leading publications.
